Over time, a great number of contaminants can end up in the sand such as pieces of broken glass, cigarette butts and animal excrements to name just a few. The Sandmaster cleaning system deals efficiently with such contaminants. Down to a cleaning depth of up to 40 cm. Freshly cleaned sand makes for a soft landing in long jump. Sand serves as safety surface under climbing frames and play equipment on playgrounds. The soft sand beneath your feet will create an almost holiday like atmosphere when playing beach volleyball.

How the Sandmaster method works:

Using a conveyer belt, sand is thrown against a vertical throw screen. Due to this filtration method, contaminant particles with a size of 5 to 8 mm or more, such as animal excrements (which can contain parasites), pieces of broken glass, cigarette butts and leaves, can be almost completely removed under normal circumstances. Contaminants are collected in the catch tray. Cleaning depth: stepless up to 40 cm.

Overview of the advantages of sand cleaning

  • Careful filtration of dirt particles:

    Due to the set-up of the throw screen even small particles can be removed. A vibrating screen is deliberately not used in order to prevent any further disintegration of organic matter (excrement, leaves, etc.).

  • Soil aeration:

    Sand layers down to a depth of 40 cm are aerated.

    The sand´s acidity levels are stabilised which eliminates rotting smells.

  • Fall protection:

    Compact sand is loosened up and fall protection is preserved.
